Our History
Our HistoryThe Social Cooperative Re.Leg.Art. was formed on 27 october 1981 starting from a special course in book ligature and restoration established by the Commune of Perugia.
Special course because orientated at the participation of disadvantaged people and not. Together they have formed the cooperative.
In 1993 the cooperative , by changing in a Social Cooperative realizes in a more complete way the main intent of the founders, that was and still is the one to promote trough work people with an handicap or disadvantage, convinced that it's especially trough a working activity that exploits each one's creative capacity that you can re-appropriate a personal dignity denied by the condition of marginalization where a so called different person is relegated. Re.Leg.Art was found and it's grown in order to live and realize an ideal of justice and social solidarity in which people is considered for their own dignity, specially who's disadvantaged, and to whom, everybody has the faculty to practise his own right of citizenship.
Work and doing it together are the 'instruments' used
